Meet the team.

I am a graduate of Brock University’s Recreation and Leisure Studies program with a concentration in Therapeutic Recreation. For the past 7 years, I have had the privilege of volunteering and working alongside older adults in Long-Term Care and Retirement settings. In my spare time, I enjoy learning new things as well as baking and caring for honeybees on my family's farm. I am excited to be working with the Virtual Rec Connect team and I look forward to getting to know you!

I am a graduate of the Recreation Therapy Program at Mohawk College. I am very passionate about providing person-centered care and providing meaningful programs for the community in all domains of health. I hope after each program you feel connected and inspired in some way. My experience is in both Long Term Care and Adult Day programs as well as education in dementia focused care. I enjoy mindfulness activities, yoga, playing the ukulele, exploring and oh- being a cat mom! I look forward to 'virtually connecting' with you.

I am a graduate of the Sheridan College Social Service Worker – Gerontology and have been working in Adult Day Programs for the past seven years. I am excited to get to know you and spend my day with you all. When I am not working, I enjoy all things nerdy - just ask me about my Star Wars collection!

I received my diploma in Recreation and Leisure Studies from Canadore College and completed my undergraduate degree with a specialization in Therapeutic Recreation from Brock University.  I am looking forward to writing my exam to become a Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS) in 2025. With 6 years of experience in Adult Day Programs, I am deeply committed to providing compassionate, person-centered care to older adults, always prioritizing dignity and respect in every interaction.

Outside of work and school, you can find me in the forest hiking or in my garden tending to my plants. I am so excited to be working alongside this amazing team to bring you Virtual Rec Connect!
